We are located within the Masai Mara ecosystem but closer to Narok town. We have leased and registered over 400 hectares of land along the Ewaso ngiro river.
The main attraction of our place appears to be walking.
Walking in the African bush is a rare and enjoyable experience. And there are less and less places now where it is possible to walk in a wild environment as safely as possible. Our ranch is very private; we are kilometers away from car or motorbike traffic.
Our Conservancy is too small to have the big fives. But it is large enough to discover the biodiversity of this part of Africa. If you like to discover a pretty flower, or an unknown butterfly or a colorful bird. If you like the idea of crossing the pass of zebras, impalas or also greater kudus, close enough to hear them snort, or move in the bush, if you enjoy the silence of the wild, you may like our place.
We have opened over 15 kilometers of trails which can take you a bit far, or short ones, close to our house, each of them presenting a specific attraction: a breath-taking view over our canyon, the discovery of an unusual rock formation, a panoramic view of our region, etc.
Our walk can also take you to visit our maasai neighbors, as they live in real maniattas, surrounded by their cattle, with one of our guides translating.
We do our utmost to be sure that you are safe. This is why we require that you go with one guide and, where buffaloes may visit us, with a scout and possibly a car 200 meters behind. (Most of our walks do not require anti buffaloes’ measures).
But if you wish to stay 15 minutes or more looking at a flower… your guide will leave you space to be alone (if it is safe).
Among our other activities, you can try your chance on fishing a catfish in the river, where they seem to be in fairly large number.
You can also visit a waterfall, located a few kilometers from our ranch.
If you like it, we can organize a sundowner in the bush. Unless you prefer to stay around the fire near the house.
Our team will do its best to make your stay a pleasant experience.
