Access to Water

The primary and secondary school of the village do not have direct access to water.

A dam was built some 20 years ago on the land owned by the primary school. It was invaded by thirsty cattle, and of no use for the school.

On the request of the head mistress, we brought a bulldozer to clean the bottom of the reservoir when it was dry. We also helped for the fencing of most of the primary school land around the dam.

This is already helping the school for personal and cloth washing, but what is really needed by the two schools which hosts together between 700 and 800 kids is running water.

A difficult issue because borehole next to the schools are dry, so water would have to come from the river, kilometers away.

We are looking for partners to help on this fairly large project.
